All you need to know to embark on endoscopy!
The BSGIE is launching a National Basic Endoscopy Course for fourth‑year gastroenterology trainees in collaboration with all Belgian universities.
This 4‑day program, spread over the academic year, combines an intensive 2‑day device‑focused course with two hands‑on training days using ex‑vivo models, ensuring extensive exposure to modern endoscopic technologies.
A panel of expert faculty will guide learners through various endoscopic techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Day 1 – Friday 23 Oct. 2026 – Gastroscopy
- Day 2 – Saturday 24 Oct. 2026 – Colonoscopy
- Day 3 – Saturday 23 Jan. 2027 – Non-emergency basic procedures
- Day 4 – Friday 12 Febr. 2027 – Emergency procedures
