Advancing endoscopy together: skills, innovation & best practice
Thursday 10 December 2026 | Brussels
Join us for a day combining hands-on training, ethics, guidelines, and practical expertise in gastrointestinal endoscopy. The symposium brings together endoscopists, trainees, nurses, and industry professionals for a full day of learning and collaboration.
The morning starts with hands-on endoscopy devices manipulation, organised in collaboration with industry partners, followed by interactive parallel sessions: a dedicated nurse track covering ERCP room preparation, endoscopic emergencies, and cannulation techniques, alongside the BygGIEs session, dedicated to trainees, exploring state-of-the-art innovations in everyday endoscopy, including GI bleeding management and AI in endoscopic practice.
The afternoon plenary session focuses on hepato-biliary-pancreatic care, opening with ethical dilemmas in HBP practice and interactive clinical cases, followed by the latest guidelines on biliary stricture management. The day closes with a practical “How I Do It” session on difficult biliary cannulation, therapeutic EUS, Mirizzi syndrome, and gallbladder drainage.
