BSGIE Annual Meeting 2022

Dear Friends, dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to our national BSGIE Meeting in the Africa Museum of Tervuren on Thursday 22 September.

Our novelty this year, is the BygGIE (Belgian young group of GI Endoscopists) focusing on non-bleeding emergencies and classification /quality in endoscopy, organized on site from 11:00 to 13:00.

The BSGIE meeting will focus on Big data in Endoscopy from 14:00 till 20:00.

Objectives

• During the BygGIE meeting: to learn in an interactive and practically illustrated way how to manage emergencies in endoscopy, how to use classifications for quality report in endoscopy
• During the main BSGIE meeting: to learn and discuss healthcare IT networks, the use of IT for quality control, questions on data storage in endoscopy as well as the use of artificial intelligence in endoscopy
• A practical session on recent data on stenting in the GI lumen is organized as last session.

The meeting is open to physicians, trainees in gastroenterology, nurses interested in endoscopy.

At the end of the meeting, a guided visit of the Africa Museum is organized for those who want to attend, based on query during registration.
